Langley, Canada TRK Helicopters Full time

An Aviation Store Person plays an important role as “gatekeeper” to all helicopter parts going in and out of inventory (“stores”).

This position reports directly to the Director of Maintenance and the job location is at our head office in Langley, BC. It also requires a full-time availability (Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm) and can include over time during the busy wildfire suppression season (summer months).

**A brief description of the job duties associated to this position include**:

- Receiving and inspecting incoming inventory parts.
- Storing inventory items in the appropriate location & ensuring they are easily accessible and well-organized.
- Issuing aircraft inventory items to maintenance personnel, tracking inventory levels and ensuring adequate supplies are available.
- Recording inventory transactions in a computer system (must be familiar with purchase order processes).
- Conducting regular inventory audits.
- Coordinating with our suppliers to order parts and equipment and facilitate delivery or local pick up
- A very high level of attention to detail
- Ability to be assertive, take initiative and be proactive
- Proficient multitasking & organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing environments
- Computer skills (MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
- A valid driver’s license in good standing (Canada wide) *This is a non-negotiable requirement
- The ability to drive a truck and trailer (useful but not required)

**Salary Range**:

- Multi-year experience within the aviation industry
- A demonstrated knowledge of Transport Canada requirements for parts ordering
- Experience with inventory and related computer programs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
