Summary/Objective
A replacement Delivery Driver distributes company products to our customers, on-time and in the proper condition. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions

1. Follow all company safety policies and procedures during replacements of other drivers.
2. Maintains a safety awareness of potential hazards when driving and while delivering items to a customer or service center
3. Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
4. Adhere exactly to routes and time schedule
5. Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
6. Lifting, carrying and walking with a variety of items within a customer’s location
7. Operator with a high level of professionalism
8. Complete service work orders
9. Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
10. Collect payments
11. Inform customers about new products and services
12. Complete daily driver logs, update driver apps and generate performance reports
13. Follow all DOT regulations and safety standards
14. Participate in continuous improvement programs, route optimization initiatives, and process efficiency and safety evaluations

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to bend, lift up to 70 lbs. regularly, sit for extended periods of time.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the "core" work hours of 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Travel is 100% primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Required Education and Experience
1. Valid professional driver’s license
2. Good driving record with no traffic violations
3. High school degree
4. Possess a positive and professional attitude
5. Strong customer service skills
Preferred Education and Experience
1. Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
2. Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
3. Excellent organizational and time management skills

- 3 weeks in August
- 5 weeks in winter
