Annual salary: $ 150,500.00 - 190,300.00

**What you'll do**
- Vegetation and Access supports capital projects with clearing of vegetation and development of permanent access. The
- department also resolves customer issues related to outage frequency and duration by removing vegetation along our
- distribution & transmission lines. The Portfolio Manager oversees a team of program managers and support staff who are
- responsible for Vegetation & Access Management across
- Distribution Maintenance & Asset Replacement Programs; and Transmission Line and Stations Programs. Each of the
- portfolios is comprised of multi
- million dollar programs that span across various parts of- The Portfolio Manager role:

- Ensures the programs under their portfolio are delivered safely, on time, within scope and budget.
- Completes the work plan as prescribed by Asset Management, managing all aspects of the plan; environmental, risk,

aboriginal relations, safety, quality, relationships, financial etc. to a high standard as determined by management- Develops annual and long term program plans (internal / external resources, tools, equipment, budget, timing etc.)
- Provides leadership in the planning and delivery of work plans; identifies risks and implements mitigation strategies;
resolves issues that may arise; establishes and manages procurement and contract requirements.- Responsible for managing the expectations of diverse stakeholder groups, external service providers, customers and First

Nations, and completes required comprehensive environmental and archaeological impact assessments to be undertaken
- in addition to the resolution of permitting, property, and right-of-way issues.- Develops and executes cost savings initiatives
- Supports various BC Hydro business group priorities by facilitating access to our system though vegetation maintenance

or removals or by upgrading, development and/or construction of new or existing access roads.- Manages vegetation and access contracts across
- Develops and complies with safety plans and regulations for each program.
- Abides by and interprets regulatory, environment, First Nations, permitting, property and right-of
- way requirements
- Maintains external relationships with residential / industrial customer, First Nations, governing bodies, contractors, service

providers and suppliers.- Relationships revolve around providing general updates, planning, problem resolution, engagement, change

management, negotiations.

**What you bring**
- A relevant degree and 10 years of progressively responsible experience in a project management, program management

considered.
- Experience in senior leadership role in a unionized environment is an asset
- Experience managing safety sensitive contracts is an asset
