Robert Rubino Trucking Ltd is a family owned and operated trucking company in Porcupine, ON. We are looking for a Shop Assistant to maintain the shop efficiently and accurately. You will be responsible for managing the overall look and organization of the shop and property, assist mechanics and management as well as maintaining the winter snow removal and summer lawncare. To be successful in this role, you should be self-motivated, have organizational skills and have basic knowledge of machinery like industrial lawnmowers and large loaders. You will also be required to complete monthly audits for health and safety. Ultimately, you will assist the shop runs smoothly and you report to management when required and all stock entering or leaving the shop is processed in a timely manner.

**Requirements**:

- Driver license required - Clean MVR abstract must be provided
- Resume of past shop experience with references
- Monday to Friday
- dayshift
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- any tickets or courses pertinent to this job would be an asset
- reliable & self motivated
- ability to take initiative and to stay organized
- knowledge of machinery (loaders and trucks) an asset
- ability to lift up to 50lbs

**Duties**:

- Maintaining shop cleanliness & organization
- Winter yard clean up / Summer Grass maintenance
- Breakroom & Washroom Cleaning /Maintenance
- Stocking shelves w/Parts & Errand pick up from other sites
- Washing & detailing trucks
- Assist mechanics to complete basic tasks
- Monthly health and safety audits

- Porcupine, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Shop: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
