Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) is one of the largest school divisions in Alberta, serving the educational needs of approximately 17,125 students in 43 schools. EIPS is recruiting a temporary part-time Bus Monitor (Salisbury Composite High, Sherwood Park) with our Student Transportation department.
Our Student Transportation department transports over 9,000 students, operates 163 buses, and over 500 bus routes on a daily basis. Students are transported directly or through transfer sites throughout the school division. Student Transportation department is located at our Central Office.

Salisbury Composite High, Sherwood Park
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, mornings from 7:50 am to 8:30 am and afternoons 3:15 pm to 4 pm. The days of work are based on the 10-month school calendar. Please note hours will change to accommodate early dismissal the first Wednesday of each month (one hour earlier).
Daily rate $49.46 ($50.45 starting September 1, 2023)

**Duties and responsibilities will include**:
supervising students with bus transfers between locations
assisting special needs students making bus transfers
excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with students
experience working in or volunteering in a school setting is an asset
bus driving experience would be an asset
Behavior Management training is an asset
