**Key Responsibilities**:

- Edit video footage using DaVinci Resolve or Premiere to create compelling and cohesive stories that align with project objectives and creative direction.
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality results.
- Utilize DaVinci Resolve for color correction, sound design, and adding special effects to enhance the visual storytelling.
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the final product.
- Provide creative input during the shooting/scripting process based on an understanding of editing requirements.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines.
- Maintain an organized digital file system for all video assets and projects.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in video editing technology and techniques.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for video content.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies, Cinematography, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve is a must.
- Excellent understanding of timing, motivation, continuity, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Creative mindset and willingness to experiment.

Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week

**Salary**: $15.50-$25.25 per hour
