**Title: Custodian/Cleaner**

**Location**: 50 Steinway Blvd. Etobicoke M9W 6Y3

**Shift **: **Sunday-Thursday - 6:50 AM TO 3:20 PM**
**Salary**: $16.23/hr
**Duration**: 3 Months

Job Summary:
The Custodian, Facility Operations, is responsible for daily housekeeping activities in the office and plant, At times, the Custodian may assist with work orders or housekeeping requests.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsible for day to day housekeeping activities within site office, Laboratories, Materials Management and Warehousing areas as prioritized by schedule, lead hand or supervisor.

Reporting deviations or issue with found within the areas

Completion of work orders or special requests for housekeeping or cleaning activities.
- Responsible for ensuring that all documentation of the assigned areas is completed according to standard operating procedures and departmental policies, and good document practices.
- Always respectful to others in the workplace and mindful of their privacy.
- Responsible for following all department and company procedures and working in a safe manner and reporting any violations of company policies and procedures and problems to the Lead Hand.
- Informing the Lead Hand or Supervisor of the workload and executing assigned tasks properly and accurately while ensuring the cleaning activities achieve the targeted goals. If the goals cannot be met, that the status is promptly communicated to the Lead Hand or Supervisor.
- Assist in the organization of special events: general meetings or other events as required.
- To perform quality work with little or no supervision.
- Attendance and punctuality to meet company and departmental expectations.
- To conform to the principles of cGMP and to conform to all relevant departmental and other company standard operating procedures.
- To maintain a clear line of communication with Lead Hand or Supervisor at all times.
- To provide recommendations on system improvements.
- Complete all appointed paperwork timely and accurately.
- To work in a professional and positive manner at all times.
- Assist others within the Operations Group when required.
- Works in a safe manner collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes.
