Smt Operator

**Shift: Afternoon with premium of.50 cents added to hourly rate**

**Summary**
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the SMT Operator will be responsible for performing solder paste stencil printing, operation of the reflow oven, identifying surface mount components, and loading machines.

**Responsibilities**
- Load machine programs and make needed adjustments to improve solder paste print and or component placement on related equipment
- Ability to read and understand assembly bill of materials (BOM)
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Perform basic machine troubleshooting
- Able to operate equipment efficiently as measured by daily production requirements
- Verify and meet acceptable quality standards
- May involve some debug and root cause corrective action

**Skills, Experience and Education**
- Must have 1-2 years of experience with a Panasonic Pick & Place Machine and EKRA Paste Printers
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Machine operating experience
- Knowledge/background in IPC-A-610 standard
- IPC Certification an asset
