Meat Clerk

**Farmboy Markets Ltd. is a locally owned (The Strano's) and operated independent supermarket. Farmboy has been located in the same spot (Lansdowne and Erskine Ave.) since January 1964.**
- Transport storage stock to stock areas.
- Open cartons and price items.
- Stock store shelves as per tag allocations.
- Support building store displays and unloading merchandise.
- Rotate perishable merchandise and pull out-of-code product.
- Welcome customers into store and remain observant.
- Ensure neat appearance as per company’s dress code policy.
- Follow safe food handling procedures.
- Learn procedures offered for sale in Meat Department.
- Work towards learning product location, description and ingredients.
- Meet customer requests by getting items from Meat Department counters.
- Check meat and seafood products rotation paying attention to expired stock.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- meat cutting/meat room: 1 year (preferred)
