Parts/scale Attendant

Location: Loraas Landfill

Reports to: Landfill Supervisor

Compensation: Hourly

Job type: Full Time, Permanent

**As a condition of employment, all new employees to safety sensitive positions must successfully pass a substance test within a two week period of their hiring date.**

**Duties**:

- Operation of the parts vehicle to pick up orders from vendors and perform internal deliveries.
- Helping with day-to-day operations of the parts department, including document control, and inventory assistance.
- Assist with scale operation and general paperwork.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and policies according to company Safety Manual and OH&S Regulations.
- Ensuring a high level of quality service to internal and external customers.
- General shop and yard duties.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Class 5 Driver’s License required, must have a clean driver's abstract.
- Strong logístical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Computer literacy required.
- ** A criminal record check will be required.**
