**TYCROP** is looking for a **Shipper **to join our team in the Fraser Valley.
- Do you have a combination of warehousing and mechanical skill?
- Do you enjoy working with computer and learning new system?

If you said **yes** to these questions, we may have an opportunity for you right here in the Fraser Valley.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assemble and package components of various products for shipment as instructed
- Scheduling of trucks for shipping and ensuring completion of any other necessary shipping arrangements
- Operate dollies, forklifts, hand trucks, jacks, pallet trucks, wrapping machinery safely and correctly
- Examines incoming shipments for damage or shortages and corresponds with shipper/receiver to rectify; completes paperwork or forms required for documentation
- Provide a working environment that is safe, clean and healthy
- Practice safe work procedures at all times

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of High school or equivalent
- Experience in assembling component basic hand tools
- Experience in lifting/carrying/moving materials an asset

**Specific Skills**:

- Possess general mechanical aptitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to properly bolt components together with correct positioning and tightening
- Use Material Handling Equipment (i.e. dollies, forklifts, hand trucks, pallet trucks, wrapping machinery)
- Packaging tools (i.e. staplers, tape guns, stripping machines, hammers)
- Ability to read a tape measure and use hand tools.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and possesses manual dexterity

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chilliwack, BC V0X 1X0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
