**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport freight and materials to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving in a safe manner.

**Qualifications**
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL); must have a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving or freight transportation is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading/unloading processes.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service.
- Must pass background checks and drug screenings as part of the hiring process.
- CN/CP tickets are a must-have
- Knowledge of the City of Winnipeg an asset.
- Must also be able to do short haul when needed
- Super B experience an asset.
