**_ What does the position entail?_**
- _ Maintain weekly project progress tracking and requested project documentation for active projects._
- _ Collect and distribute project performance information to the project team, recommending actions to Project Manager based on noted project performance. _
- _Assist Project Manager in identification of project change orders, communicating requests for change orders to contracts department and advising finance department._
- _ Assist Project Manager when project issues or risks are identified, assisting in implementing recommended actions as to reduce risk to overall project performance and success._
- _ Ensure alignment of project records, between corporate accounting software, project management software, and project data locations. _
- _Assist Project Manager in preparing reports and presentations._
- _ Prepare and maintain electronic and paper project files. _
- _Perform document control functions including internal and external issue and receipt of deliverables._
- _ Maintain project registries that capture stakeholder communication, internally and externally. _
- _Assist with ensuring project activities adhere to quality assurance requirements._
- _ Assist with implementing new processes, as directed by Manager._
- _ Assist Project Manager by identifying invoicing milestones and liaise with finance team to prepare invoice. _
- _Assist Project team with scheduling and preparation of project meetings. _
- _Attend project debriefs in order to identify areas for improvement; make recommendations based on findings. _

**_What you will need to be successful?_**
- _ Will hold a minimum qualification of a recognized degree or equivalent experience._
- _ 0-5 years’ experience using Microsoft Project or equivalent. _
- _Will typically have 0-5 years’ experience coordinating projects._
- _ Communicates clearly and can complete work within budget and deadlines. _
- _Willingness to be developed, mentored, or coached by senior staff._
- Overall competency would be considered Beginner or Working within their discipline

**Competitive Salary Range**: CA $58,000 - $63,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, as outlined in the job desciption/posting.
