**Who are we searching for?**
Nail Technician Instructor
As we continue to experience growth in our company and school, we are looking for a new member to join our City Square Nail Instructional Team. We are seeking a service-oriented, creative and skilled nail technician who is enthusiastic about joining our team of educational professionals.
Ultimately, you will be a mentor - working as an experienced and trusted guide to empower our wonderful students. Combining guidance and support with technical ability, you are excited about sharing your knowledge and passion with the next generation of working professionals.
**What is the job?**
- Organizing daily teaching schedules and monitoring student progress to
- ensure all elements of the curriculum are delivered within the module
- Teaching the theory components onsite or online. Teaching practical skills for the relevant module: Natural Nails or Artificial Nails
- Substituting for any other classes, if needed
- Proactively interacting with and supervising students, providing positive feedback and opportunities for problem solving and skill development
- Providing a positive, supportive environment with the instructional team and student body
- Maintaining a fair, consistent, and objective approach within an atmosphere
- of accountability, flexibility and responsibility
- Organizing student “client days”: booking and confirming appointments
- Developing contacts for, and organizing guest speakers
- Systematically checking equipment and facilities for safety and operational
- concerns
- Checking supplies and products for restocking
- This is a framework of the core responsibilities. As your role evolves, additional
- duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
**What are the Qualifications?**
- A certificate in Nail Technology or Esthetics supplemented by a minimum of two years of full-time occupational experience or 10 years of demonstrated experience in the Nail Industry
- Able to perform manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylic nails and nail art services
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong sense of responsibility, customer service and leadership
- Comfortable handling sensitive situations and able to exercise sound judgment
- An enthusiastic “can-do” attitude and strong problem-solving skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Able to respond to feedback and to embrace continuous improvement
**What is the Compensation?**
Compensation commensurate with experience.
