Alarm Cctv Technician

**What you will do**:
- Rough-in Low Voltage Wiring at Commercial and Residential sites
- Install CCTV cameras, Alarms, Network, Audio/Video Equipment and Smart Home Equipment.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Service, install, troubleshoot, repair, maintain and inspect security and low voltage systems. Troubleshoot or perform work on customer networks as required.
- Rough-in wiring, cable termination, signal test, labeling.
- Use power tools, drills corded and cordless.
- Interact within company systems as required.
- Travel to customers locations as required.
- Interact with customers and internal employees in a professional manner.
- Maintain company provided service vehicle as required.
- Maintain and handle with care van parts inventory or other materials as required.
- Provide customer training as required and assist the sales team as required.
**Qualifications**
- **Education**:_
- High school diploma
- Commitment to upgrading and continuing their education
- **Experience**_**:
- Preferred Alarm/CCTV Installer or Data & Communications
- Experience setting up and troubleshooting devices
- Knowledge of building construction is an asset
- **Skills**:_
- Must be self motivated and able to work independently
- Mechanical aptitude and be able to use hand and power tools
- English language written and verbal skills, telephone skills, excellent organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential
- The ability to meet deadlines and commitments and to adjust/adapt to new ideas and procedures is necessary
- **Other**_**:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Company vehicle provided for company use only (includes gas/maintenance)
- Company cell phone
- All tools and test equipment required will be provided
**Salary**: $30.00-$36.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
