Shipper/receiver

Metroland Distribution Centre is currently providing an opportunity for a full-time Shipper/Receiver. This position will be responsible for all general shipping and receiving duties, as well as administrative duties and coordinating the Traffic Department.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Wrapping and staging completed products off press
- Loading/unloading trucks as needed
- Complete and verify Bill of Lading precisely
- Ensure completed products are labeled accurately
- Complete all duties in accordance with our Health and Safety policies and the Occupational Health and Safety Act

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of High School diploma an asset
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- On the job training provided
- Forklift equipment certificate is preferred; training/certification will be provided
- Detail oriented in a fast-paced team environment with opportunities to build positive team relationships
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. and stand for an extended period with ease
- Effective communications and interpersonal skills in a team environment
