**Position Description**:

- Perform receiving inspection of supplied components prior to incorporation into final product.
- Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
- Report deviations from specifications and tolerances to supervisor
- Complete and maintain inspection reports.
- Update materials database following approval of components received.
- Control and issue required components from inventory
- Perform in-house calibration of calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Assist in loading and unloading of material when necessary
- Must be able to work effectively and efficiently.
- Comfortable driving forklifts.
- To be able to multi task and assist with other roles when required.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of secondary school is preferred
- Minimum 3 years experience in receiving/inspection, preferably in the machine/fabrication shop.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables or study sample parts
- Interpersonal communications skills.
- Computer literate: MS Office
- Planning and organizational skills.
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

- Grimsby, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
