The PROJECT PLANNER (Temporary 1 year Assignment) is a key member of the Large Projects team. They will own all aspects of scheduling and planning large projects from initial schedule creation through to project closure. This will include Critical Path Analysis, Earned Value Analysis, change management and performance measurement along with giving team accurate details to allow for consistent EAC. They will partner with the Project Manager and work with the internal functions (Engineering, Sourcing, PSI etc) to drive the schedule to deliver to our customers on time. While giving the team a full view of the project details to allow for strategic positioning. They will own/maintain/ and integration of schedules with our partners and subcontractors where required (possibly onsite). They will provide regular progress reports to senior leadership and drive best in class scheduling practices.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop & maintain Level 1, 2, and 3 project schedules (including managing standard activities, defining the required dependencies, linkages, inter-relationships, associated cycles, durations, responsibility codes, resource loading, etc.) while being able to give financial visibility to the outcome of the planning
- Partner with the Project Managers and Function Leaders while leading regular communication to the teams to have a full understanding of the critical path along with giving the team financial visibility to reflect accurate information.
- Monitor Project progress; provide problem analysis and corrective action; Identify, communicate and mitigate risks along with opportunities
- Provide detailed information to PM and other team members on contract schedule change while being able to communicate change management details
- Track and monitor the progress of the tasks and milestones with project teams, identify variances, and warning signs and ensure early actions are taken as necessary
- Integrate schedules with partners, subcontractors, and stakeholders. Provide regular status updates and manage Schedule Change. Analyze and prepare defense positions on schedule claims. Develop schedule workaround plans to maintain project cost and schedule requirements.
- Follow up and expedite all functional teams to drive the on-time delivery of the projects (Engineering, Supply Chain, Install/Commissioning)
- Analyze contracts and be aware of crucial terms and conditions, schedule, contractual or logístical elements
- Provide progress reports & management level reporting
- Mentor others regarding advanced project scheduling

**Requirements**:

- In-depth knowledge of Primavera Product Suite
- In-depth MS Project
- In-depth knowledge of Project Management concepts and techniques
- Senior level experience in Project planning and scheduling using P6 and or MS Project
- Thorough understanding of project scheduling fundamentals like earned value analysis, critical path analysis and resource analysis
- Ability to train and mentor others
- Preferred knowledge of SAP
- Ability to set individual priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong team collaboration skills
- PMP certification desirable
