The following is an outline of the duties and responsibilities required for this position. These duties may change from time to time depending on business needs.
- Perform assembly of mechanical parts and equipment with a high degree of efficiency.
- Identify faulty components during assembly process.
- Order assembly, kitting and packaging.
- Test and trouble shoot assembled parts or products to ensure functionality.
- Reading assembly work instructions to fulfill work orders.
- Operate carts, dollies, hand trucks, order pickers, and other equipment to move large quantities of merchandise.
- Safe operation and use of hand tools including grinders, drills, saws, sanders buffers etc.
- General Labor including sanitation duties.
- Loading/unloading of trucks as required.
- Ensures Health and Safety compliance is in accordance with company policies and provincial legislation.

- Strong attention to detail.
- Mechanical aptitude (preferred).
- A high degree of initiative and the ability to work in a team environment are essential.
- Ability to work under time constraints.
- Ability to meet physical requirements including prolonged standing, repetitive actions and lifting/moving of between upwards of 100+ pounds - with team lifts, as necessary.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and bill of materials.
- Capable of working with little or no supervision for periods of time.
- First-Aid and JHSC certified (asset).
- Safety boots or shoes are required.

**What does it take?**
- 1-2 years Warehouse experience or order fulfillment environment.
- Order Fulfillment Experience in a fast-paced environment (asset).
- Reach Truck experience (asset)
- Post-Secondary Education (asset).
- MS Excel knowledge, experience using ERP systems, and shipping software.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable means of transportation. Our location is not on a public transit route.
