**About the position**:
Currently, our Project Planning Services team is searching for a dedicated and eager **Electrical** **Planner** to join us in the Burnaby/ Vancouver region. This person will be based out of our Burnaby head office but may work onsite when required. This position is a great opportunity for those with a background in electrical construction.
- What is Project Planning Services? Project Planning Services is a decentralized team that supports our large P3 projects across the province as well as other small commercial projects with our extensive knowledge and our commitment to innovation and quality._

**Responsibilities**:
The Planner would be responsible for working with our project planning services team to:

- Produce installation drawings for field teams to allow for efficient install of electrical systems on a project.
- Interpret construction drawings including electrical, architectural, mechanical and structural.
- Work in an office environment and utilize computer programs to efficiently produce the installation drawings.

**Qualifications**:

- Must be a 3rd or 4th year apprentice or journeyman electrician with red seal ticket.
- Must have a minimum 4-5 years of field experience with:

- Conduit Bending & Racking
- Wire Installation
- Distribution installation is an asset
- High attention to detail
- Positive attitude
- Willing to learn or re-learn methods of planning
- Good communication skills
- Passionate about research & fine detailing within the planning scope
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Adaptable, organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Should enjoy working with computers and be literate with

- Solid understanding of the CEC
