- Our **Sandblaster** positions have a **wage range of $27 - $32** per hour based on years of experience and a skills assessment during the interview stage. Increases are then reviewed throughout employment.

Our **Advanced Bending Technologies** facility is looking for an experienced and energetic **Sandblaster** to join our team in **Calgary, Alberta**.

We are looking for a self-motivated **Sandblaster** who is looking to build their career in trades. The sandblaster works in a blast booth environment wearing proper safety equipment, using high-pressure equipment, steam, or air, to clean and prepare surfaces on frames, pipes and/or parts.

**Essential functions for this role are**:

- Grinding, chipping, masking, and prepping
- Sets up, operates, and cleans sandblasting equipment, loads machine hopper with abrasives such as grit or shot
- Applies masking materials to protect designated areas from abrasive action Cleans the blasted material of any extra grit after completion of blasting
- Cleans welds after sandblasting surfaces
- Utilize basic hand and power tools
- Familiar with SP10 level of blast profile.

**if you have the following experience, qualifications, and skills, we want to hear from you**
- Minimum 1 year of sandblasting experience
- Prior experience working in an industrial paint fabrication facility
- Ability to work independently
- Strong leadership skills
- Detailed oriented and the ability to prioritize effectively
