**Job Summary:
**Vale has a great opportunity available for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our production team as
Maintenance/Service Technician. Vale Industries is a fast-paced, collaborative environment with lots of opportunity for

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- In-house Equipment
- Lead internal maintenance and preventative maintenance program
- Learn all aspects of all production machinery
- Repair equipment as required
- Hire outside vendors when required
- Help equipment suppliers with new equipment installs (ie. paint gun install)
- Perform inspections as required
- Provide lists of parts/services required for maintenance
- Other tasks as required from time to time
- PDI on Assembled Product
- Perform final inspection of assembled product
- Documentation
- Report out results and ensure NCRs are followed up on and closed
- Assist yard forklift operator loading of large units

**Education and Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulics
- A broad knowledge of the selection and the operation of machines, equipment, and tools that will be used in the

satisfactory performance of duties
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills

**Knowledge Areas and Experience:
- Strong group work and communications skills
- An organized and diligent work style
- Good people skills and the ability to communicate well with customers
- Mechanically inclined and have good knowledge of tools and their capabilities
- An intuitive technical/mechanical understanding of machines
- Heavy Duty/ Agricultural Equipment Mechanic/ Millwright experience an asset
