Asphalt Raker

Blair Asphalt Products Ltd has been proudly providing Eastern Ontario with quality asphalt and paving services for over 5 years. We are currently recruiting an experienced Asphalt Raker to join our team.

Responsibilities Include:

- Rake asphalt with high attention to detail.
- Take pride in your work and provide a nice surface finish.
- Shovel and rake asphalt efficiently and independently.
- Rake joints as required.
- Operate gas plate, hand tamper and other tools as required.
- Perform a variety of general labor duties.
- Be proactive, seek out areas that require raking and extra attention.
- Communicate effectively with other crew members, foremen, and site supervisors.
- Be safety conscious and well aware of your surroundings on the road and jobsites.
- Assist in setting up traffic control signage, barrels and barriers.
- Report any issues/concerns to immediate supervisors.
- Play a support role and assist crew members on an as needed basis.
