Vendor Onboarding Specialist

**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the **_Sr. Manager, Ecommerce Product Strategy, _**the **Vendor Onboarding Specialist **is responsible for the successful onboarding of third-party online eCommerce Marketplace vendors. You’ll be the key vendor contact for educating vendors to become proficient in using the UFA Marketplace portal. This will allow for an increased number of vendors and products selling on UFA’s Marketplace. You’ll build valuable relationships with new and existing vendor partners, provide technical and training support, and play a pivotal role in the Marketplace vendor strategy execution. This role requires strong people orientation and a desire to solve problems.
**This position will be a 1 year contract on a full time basis**
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Provide training and support to vendors during both the onboarding process and the ongoing addition of individual vendor products or product catalogues onto the Marketplace Platform
- Be the first point of contact for vendors in case functional issues arise during the onboarding process or otherwise (i.e., issues with product information, images, etc.)
- This role is the go-to person to address or solve any problems vendors encounter adding their products onto the website through the Marketplace Platform
- With guidance from the Marketplace Management Team, support and execute Marketplace strategies by category to meet quarterly and annual vendor and product targets
- Responsible for working closely with the Product Strategy Specialist, 3P eCom during the acquisition and handover process
- Effectively communicate and answer questions with respect to vendor Marketplace contract Terms and Conditions or Marketplace Policies
- Utilizing your knowledge of our systems and vendor needs, you will help optimize the onboarding process with support from the Product Strategy Specialist, 3P eCom
- Answer vendor questions about API integrations
**Required Qualifications**:
- 3 - 5 years of progressive work experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in commerce, marketing, agriculture, communications, or a combination of education and experience
- Strong knowledge and understanding of online eCommerce or Marketplace practices
- Prior experience within a customer service environment
- Superior organizational skills: ability to set priorities, and drive initiatives
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Displays patience when dealing with people
- Quick to learn new systems and tools
