Our Environmental services are broad reaching and integrated with our multi-disciplinary teams. Through environmental planning and management, we work towards net positive impacts of our clients’ projects, increasingly with a focus on sustainability and making a difference on climate. Through environmental engineering, geoscience, and ecology we delve into and solve problems over wide ranging scales and with a broad geographic coverage.
**Responsibilities**:- Work closely with senior biologists to conduct biophysical field surveys.- Maintaining and organizing accurate and detailed field logbooks as well as photo documentation records.- Inputting, maintaining and summarizing data and information in databases and reports.- Working in a multi-disciplinary team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Biology or Ecology (or related field).- Applied experience in biology and plant and wildlife ecology, including plant and tree identification skills.- Experience with avian identification field studies a definite asset.- Previous experience conducting biophysical baseline and/or monitoring projects that comply with Environmental Assessment requirements would be an asset.- Must have strong technical report writing skills and the ability to compile field data into summary reports.- Proficient with Windows Office (Word, Excel).- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.- Any experience with environmental inspection during construction is an asset.- Valid First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.
