We are currently looking for a **General Foreman** to help us with building construction in Southern Saskatchewan.

**Job Title**: General Foreman

**Job Summary**:Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of trades-craft persons who Construct, Renovate, and Maintain structures of building materials, and build, and install interior finishing in Residential, Commercial, and Industrial buildings; Establish methods to meet work schedules, and coordinate work activities with other departments. Working in Southern Saskatchewan near Estevan, on 10 day on and 4 day off (10-4) rotation. Project duration is approximately three (3) months with the possibility of extension. Living out Allowance (LOA) and Travel to be confirmed nearer the start date of late September.

**Scope of Responsibilities**:

- Prepare production and reports.
- Supervise workers and projects.
- Co-ordinate and schedule activities.
- Oversee apprenticeship training.
- Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
- Train or arrange for training.
- Prepare bids.
- Manage the company.
- Estimate costs and materials.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
- Recommend personnel actions.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Read blueprints and drawings.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman Certification in a mechanical trade is considered an asset.
- 5+ years working experience as a general foreman or supervisor.
- **The following safety certifications are required**:

- LSE
- CSTS or SCOT
- WHMIS 2015
- First Aid and CPR
