_Quality Railway Services_ is looking to fill positions for our 2020 season and to start a new career. We are looking for some Trackman that have knowledge in Track construction, Turnout construction, Track maintenance. We are also open to eager employees that want to start a career with a very fast-growing company. We are hiring for work all over Alberta-Saskatchewan & British Columbia. We run off a 10-4 work cycle with competitive pay and the chance to grow and learn as a team
Position**:Trackman**
Reports directly to Foreman, responsible for carrying out daily tasks directed by the foreman. Trackman maintains, repairs and builds railway tracks. Must embrace continual growth in knowledge
**Knowledge**
- Ability to understand both verbal and written instructions
- Basic knowledge of construction methods
- Knowledge on operating small engine equipment
- Understand all safety policies, practices and work procedures
- Able to carry out concentration along with alertness for shifts
- Stress managment
- Equipment maintenance
**Skills**
- Team player
- Communication skills
- Knowledge of all tools, equipment, job procedures
**Requirements**:
- Valid drivers license with a clean abstract
- Railway experience
- Clean criminal record check
- Read and write
- Great hearing and vision
- Physically fit
- Minimum High school education
