Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care (“Yee Hong”) is one of the largest not-for-profit, culturally-appropriate seniors care organizations in Canada. **Status: Full Time**

**Core Function**:

- Reporting to the Property Management Supervisor, responsible for cleaning, responding to emergency/minor maintenance and security duties, and ensuring that the buildings are maintain in a clean, attractive and safe condition

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of High School
- Able to perform heavy lifting tasks and visual acuity to ensure cleaning tasks are performed to standard
- Related experience in institutional housekeeping preferred
- Good interpersonal skills. Experience working with seniors is an asset
- Good oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese
- Relevant satisfactory work performance

**Working Condition**:

- Considerable standing, walking, lifting, bending, and pushing.
- Shift work, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
- Exposure to all resident care elements through regular client contact.
- Exposed to chemicals, garbage, dust, heat, noise and humidity.
