Kinesiologist

Intuitive Independence Rehabilitation Services has an opening for a Full-Time Clinic / Community based Kinesiologist. We are a multi-disciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Kinesiologists, Registered Massage Therapists, Chiropractors, Dietitian's, Social Workers, Clinical Counsellors and a Psychologist. Our two beautiful clinics are located in the Fraser Valley, a rapidly growing community offering easy access to many recreational opportunities including hiking, mountain biking, cross country running trails, skiing and more. Vancouver, a short drive down the highway, offers a wide variety of entertainment, shopping and more.

As a Kinesiologist with our company, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of individualized rehabilitation programs of community / clinic based clients and the provision of appropriate physical and functional fitness programs. Either independently, in collaboration with, or under the supervision of a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or the Kinesiology Team Lead in a private rehabilitation setting. We seek to provide accessible services to our clients in their community as much as possible, from Hope to North Vancouver. As a Kinesiologist with our company you will be willing to provide services within the areas and locations as is relevant to your caseload. All service provision is based on the therapist’s clinical knowledge, training and expertise and should be provided in a timely fashion in accordance with the guidelines and quality standards established by Intuitive Independence Rehabilitation Services.

Your **Qualifications **will Include:

- Minimum Bachelors Degree in Human Kinetics or Kinesiology
- Certified Membership with BCAK
- Current Standard First Aid with CPR C/AED
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience working as a Kinesiologist
- CSEP Certification an Asset
- Valid BC Driver’s License
- Reliable Mode of Transportation
- Organization and Time Management Skills
- Strength and Success in Establishing and Maintaining Client Relationship
- Ability to Provide Feedback and Fitness related Information to Clients and Answer Client Questions
- Ability to Work Independently and Collaboratively with Minimum Supervision
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Ability to Write Clear, Concise and Accurate Reports
- A Passion for Continuous Learning and Best Practice
