Assistant Superintendent

Position Summary_
- Qualifications & Skills:_
- Degree or certificate from a recognized turf management program or a high degree of experience related to golf course management
- 3+ years experience working in a golf course or sports field environment
- Must hold, or be in the process of gaining an Ontario landscape pesticide certification and license
- Safe Chainsaw operation certificate, and applicable experience considered an asset
- Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- A strong understanding of cultural practices as related to golf course maintenance
- Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and carry out and communicate to others on the team
- Ability to supervise, lead, motivate and demonstrate a positive work ethic within a team
- Ability to perform various heavy physical labour for long periods of time
- Compensation & Benefits:_
A salary in the range of $50,000 - $65,000 will be offered, commensurate with qualifications and experience. **Salary**: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
