The role of a MES Technician is to develop online documentation and machine programs using the Aegis software platform and create work instructions for Mechanical and PCB assemblies. They will implement ECO changes via the AGILE Product Management software into the MES System to ensure the shop floor has the most current documentation and programs

**Who you report to**: Manager, Mechanical Process Development

**What the job is all about**:

- Provide computer support to the shop floor with respect to software
- used for production purposes
- Including assisting in software development, implementation,
- training and maintenance
- Assist in MES to MAX integration, maintenance, and training, as
- well as any other automated data collection methods. i.e. XLINK
- Work closely with team members of our Manufacturing Support group
- to maintain production efficiency on the production shop floor
- Experience in a technical environment and some exposure to MES, or
- similar systems, be forward thinking and possess excellent organisational
- skills and a keen interest in learning

**Who you are**:

- Solid mechanical aptitude
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Focused and have excellent attention to detail
- Capable of following procedures and work logically
- Willing to learn with a growth mindset, asking questions and a positive
- attitude with a genuine interest and willingness to learn
- Experience in a Microsoft Suites environment, with a college
- diploma, and prior experience is advantageous in a high-tech environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively
- with technical and non-technical teams
- Bonus points if you have the following:

- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment and
- Electronics Assembly
- Computer literate beyond basic functions is an asset
