**Secretary/Learning Commons Facilitator**
- Be an ambassador for Onoway Junior Senior High School
- Provide friendly reception to school visitors, staff and students
- Provide assistance to students and staff through ordering, cataloguing, selecting and signing out resources
- Input and retrieve data and reports utilizing the automated Library program and perform circulation control functions
- Provide efficient and professional administrative support to the administrative team and the school
- Data entry
- Work fluently in PowerSchool Database (i.e. scheduling/timetabling, registration, student demographics, attendance, etc.
- Organize and accurately maintain online filing system of confidential information
- Transportation booking for school sports and events
- Office assistant and/or librarian program/certification, preferred
- Previous receptionist and/or library experience, preferred
- Office related computing/technology courses
- Knowledge and use of PowerSchool and PASI
- Superior interpersonal skills with a team orientation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy and efficiency
- Well-developed organizational and administrative skills
- Demonstrates initiative and problem-solving skills
- Excellent ability to manage work load in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work cooperatively with different groups - staff, students, parents, public
- Current First Aid/CPR (including AED) training and experience

**Hours or work**:

- 6.5 hours per day, 4 days per week

**Wage Rate**:

- Secretary - $18.45/hour - $29.46/hour depending on qualifications and experience
- Learning Commons Facilitator - $18.20/hour - $29.25/hour depending on qualifications and experience

**Start Date**:

- Duties will commence August 30, 2023
