Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Greeting patients upon arrival and engaging with/assisting them throughout their appointments
- Directing patients into treatment rooms and ensuring efficient patient care
- Cleaning treatment rooms in-between patients
- Maintaining an organized and clean office environment
- Collecting and processing payments for services provided
- Data and transaction entry into electronic health records software
- Scanning, photocopying and filing
- Entering patient information into diagnostic systems and readying systems for doctor use
- Preparing patient forms and readying patient charts for the day’s/week’s appointments
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments
- Balancing to point-of-sale system at the end of each day and preparing weekly bank deposits
- Becoming highly familiar with our patient community and meeting their individual needs
- Keeping patients on track with their chiropractic care
- Communicating with the doctor regarding patient needs/issues
- Performing general administrative tasks as assigned by Business Manager

**Education**:
Experience/Requirements:

- Minimum 1 year administrative experience. Having customer service experience in addition would be an asset.
- Excellent English proficiency is required (verbal and written)
- Openness to learning and retaining high volumes of information, including established practices, procedures and scripts
- Must be adept with computers including using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Completely comfortable engaging with the public on a daily basis
- Basic understanding of general office equipment like copies, scanners and point-of-sale machines
- Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently. Solid typing speed/skills (min 40 wpm with 90% accuracy) needed [testing will be required]
- Ability to multi-task without sacrificing work quality. Excellent organizational skills.
- Neat and legible handwriting
- Strong, professional verbal and written communication skills
- Basic business math knowledge [testing will be required]
- Ability to focus and work well under pressure
- Reliable and punctual

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33 - 35 per week
