Wynn Park Villa is currently seeking a Regular Part-Time (20 hours bi-weekly) Dietary Aide. This position includes two 10-hour day shifts (7:30 am-5:30 pm) every other weekend.

The Dietary Aide is responsible for duties related to preparing and distributing food served to the Residents of Wynn Park Villa. Dietary Aides also ensure the pod area is clean and tidy and dishes are washed.

**Responsibilities**:
Follows safety, environmental and infection control practices as per Facility policies.

Follow the diet status sheets and ensure the proper meals are served to each Resident (i.e., diabetics, allergies, etc).

Ensure cleaning of weekly and bi-weekly items in the Pod

Other duties as required

Qualifications:
Grade 12 education or equivalent

Food Handlers

Standard First Aid and CPR certification as asset

Reliable with good attendance record

Respectful and hardworking team player with professional and courteous manner

Experience working in a Long-Term Care or Home Care Setting an asset

Clear Criminal Record Abstract and Vulnerable Sector Check within the last 6 months

Covid-19 Considerations:
Proof of vaccination required

Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

We are a 60 Bed Facility made up of 50 Nursing Care beds and 10 Residential Care Beds. Our Facility is family owned and has three generations of family along with many skilled professional and support services Staff working to make our Facility as family orientated and homelike as possible for our Residents.
