We are looking for an experienced Financial Consultant to contribute to this innovative work.

**Title**: Financial Consultant
**Salary**: $84,250 - $99,117 - $113,985 per year (pay range explained below)
**Contract**: Temporary, 2 year Term
**Hours**: 37.5 hours, Monday
- Friday (core hours
- 9:00 am
- 3:00 pm)
**Location**: Coast Salish Musqueam Nations
- Metro Vancouver: Alberni office - (Hybrid - minimum 50% in the office)
Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway, after November 2024.

**About the role**
As a Financial Consultant, you will provide expertise in the areas of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, reporting and advisory services to the organization. You will join a team of eight individuals on the Financial Planning & Analysis team. You will assist in tracking the utilization of new and existing funding that the organization receives. Additionaly, you will collaborate with the Senior Executive Team, Managers, and initiative leads to provide financial analysis and technical reports to support timely and effective decision-making.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have
- A degree with specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, or commerce.
- A recognized accounting designation (CA, CMA, CFA or CGA) plus 5 to 7 years related specialized experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of two years of experience in audit is an asset
- Advanced knowledge of the concepts, practices, methods and techniques pertaining to the Finance field, including knowledge of specialized disciplines, such as planning, budgeting, forecasting, and general accounting (i.e. GAAP)
- Planning skills to translate strategies into workable plans and tactics; and to take the lead on projects and assignments to address clients’ Finance requirements
- Solid research and analytical skills to identify and assess client group strategies and plans, and to establish Finance requirements

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level.

As a health and wellness organization, the FNHA has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.
