Hydrovac Operator

Overview:

**Job Summary**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Operate Tri-drive hydro Vac units in a safe and efficient manner
- Must be physically able to perform tasks and work in all weather
- Completion of daily documentation including but not limited to daily log books, customer work orders, field level risk assessment, pre/post trip inspections
- Follow instructions for tasks assigned by Dispatch or Supervisor
- Complete daily housekeeping of assigned truck to ensure maintenance of company image
- Attend daily tool box and safety meetings as scheduled and adhere to corporate and site safety regulations and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous hydrovac, trucking, vacuum truck or other related industrial experience required.
- Must have a minimum Class 1, 3 with airbrake endorsement and an acceptable driving record.
- Experience driving a manual transmission (18 speed) preferred.
- Safety certifications preferred (e.g. First Aid/CPR, C.S.T.S, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Confined Space, OSSA and Ground Disturbance).
- Experience in a labour-intensive position and working outside in all types of weather conditions.
- Capable of working variable shifts with extended hours.
- Ability to work independently in a team and safety focused environment.
- Mechanical inclination is an asset.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Must successfully pass XHS driver’s evaluation, D&A and fit for duty pre-employment screening

**Submission**:
Pay: $30.00-$37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 80 per week
