Days Inn Ottawa Downtown is a full service property management company that specializes in Hospitality.

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department. This position will oversee the housekeeping department, and ensure that all housekeeping needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. This position will also be responsible for developing and implementing the housekeeping department’s procedures, policies, and procedures to ensure that housekeeping functions are operating at high efficiency.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of related field experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce.
- Ability to work with a team to meet goals and objectives.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement housekeeping programs and procedures, as well as maintain and improve upon existing housekeeping programs and procedures.
- Oversee the daily activities of housekeeping staff, including scheduling, performance reviews, training, etc.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Every Weekend
- Holidays
- Morning shift
- Weekends only

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ottawa, ON K1N 5Y4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 5 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)

Work Location: In person
