**Job Description**:
**What you're responsible for**:

- Supervise and manage a team of drivers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure optimal performance
- Overseeing the day to day operations, safety regulations and procedures
- Working closely with a team of drivers and dispatchers to ensure timely service to our customers
- Schedule and coordinate driver assignments, routes, and deliveries to meet operational goals and customer demands.
- Monitor driver performance, conduct regular performance evaluations, and implement improvement plans when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies, including safety standards and vehicle maintenance
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to driver activities, performance, and incidents

**Qualifications**:

- AZ or DZ license preferred, roll-off or lugger experience is an asset
- 2+ years experience in a supervisory role
- 5+ years experience in the transportation, logistics, or solid waste industry
- In-depth knowledge of transportation regulations, safety protocols, and compliance requirements
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a track record of making effective decisions under pressure
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office and transportation management software and technology for tracking and reporting
- GEOTAB experience is an asset
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed, available by phone after-hours
