As a Server, you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by serving our residents in a safe environment promoting long term recovery. You will partner with the Director of Nursing and Executive Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment and routine for our residents.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum high school diploma
- Associate degree preferred.
- 1-3 years’ experience in community or mental health field; experience with chemical dependency or mental illness preferred.
- Must have one-half hour delivery or better (we prefer you have one true “A” game).
- COVID -19 Vaccination / approved exemption status

**Responsibilities**:

- Warmly greet visitors/patients and donors as well as the crew of staff members.
- Prepare patients for their first dose of treatment by completing tasks such as administering medication, assisting with injections, checking medical equipment etc.
- Ensure all food/dining services are served in accordance with safety standards at all times.
- Ensure all areas are cleaned up after business hours, including wiping down counters, cleaning up all medications and checking equipment for damage.
- Maintain a positive attitude and conduct in accordance with Octopus' Garden Restaurant policies.
- Follow Octopus' Garden Restaurant protocols for answering phone calls and providing customer service to clients.
- Follow instructions from Staff Advisors on how to operate various equipment such as consoles, medical equipment, etc. including training if needed.
- Open/close facilities as needed including cleaning out closed medicine vials, stocking inventory etc.
- Prepare for each shift according to Octopus' Garden Restaurant guidelines by cleaning up stockrooms, sweeping floors, organizing supplies etc.
- Prepare for each shift according to schedule by performing duties as assigned; do not stop to talk to customers or others about your progress while working.
