We are looking for a motivated, positive individual, who brings a passion for excellence and a commitment to teamwork.

We are looking to immediately fill the position for a geothermal installer, HDPE Fusion technician.

At GeoTility, we have dedicated ourselves to being an industry leader by providing the highest quality products, technical knowledge, and service to our clients. With the help of our dedicated team, we have successfully completed hundreds of geothermal installations ranging from single family residential homes to the most ambitious commercial/institutional projects.

**Primary activities will include**:

- Maintaining a clean and organized work area and jobsite
- Performing fusion welding (socket, butt, electrofusion, saddle)
- Performing material take offs, preparing materials and tools required for installation
- Installation of below grade reverse return HDPE headers
- Installation of above grade HDPE and/or steel manifolds
- Placement and mounting of heat pumps, pumps, controls
- Installation of piping and hose for interior equipment
- Pneumatic, hydrostatic, flow and other testing on systems as required
- Completion of paperwork, asbuilts and all other records required for documentation of work completed

**Requirements and Skills**:

- Hardworking, responsible & trustworthy
- A high level of safety awareness; a safety-first attitude
- Physical fitness with the ability to handle materials up to 50lbs consistently
- Flexibility with changing job tasks and priorities
- Working out of town for some projects will be required
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions in wet and muddy conditions
- Valid class 5 Drivers License with a clean driving record
- Ability to overcome obstacles and think ahead before problems arise
- Be able to work well independently or in a team, with and without supervision
- Open to present solutions to problems and contribute to improvement of procedures and processes
- Willingness to learn and continue to develop trade knowledge

**Assets**:

- Construction experience
- Mechanical knowledge/skill
- ITA certification in water well or geothermal drilling and/or HDPE Fusion experience

Note - this is not a fly in/out position. This position requires you to be physically present within the Lower Mainland of BC. Travel to/from project sites will be provided when work takes us to other areas.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
