Scherer Gardening and Landscaping is a small Landscaping business in Dalkeith, ON. Our company is known for its Natural Stone Landscaping and Water Features.

We specialize in Patios, Walkways, Flower beds, Riverwalls, and much more. Creating modern designs by incorporating newer ideas and materials into our natural stone projects. From Flagstone to Interlock, Armor Stone, or Concrete Product retaining walls, we do it all.

We also do seasonal garden maintenance, hedge trimming, tree cutting, and general excavation during the slower months.

Overview:
**Duties**:

- Oversee and lead a crew in various landscaping projects
- Build and maintain landscapes according to design plans
- Ensure proper care of plants, trees, and gardens
- Coordinate with clients to understand their landscaping needs
- Train and mentor team members on landscaping techniques
- Implement safety protocols on job sites

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in landscape construction and maintenance
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively
- Proficiency in irrigation system installation and maintenance
- Knowledge of garden care practices
- Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 8-9 months

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 55 per week

**Experience**:

- Landscaping: 1 year (preferred)
