**Position Summary**:
The Scheduler is accountable to NAC’s project teams in fulfilling both the company and contractual objectives, with respect to maintaining the master schedule for each project. The incumbent will interact with the Operations Department, owners and subcontractors with regards to the overall impact of work. The incumbent will also provide resolutions for issues that arise. The Senior Scheduler supports the overall cost control objectives of the project.

Maintain thorough understanding of the estimate and cost report to support the projects’ cost control objectives and contractual requirements.
Create master schedule for each project and identify and record the impact of work performed and not performed as scheduled.
Be accountable to the project teams in fulfilling the company and contractual objectives with respect to scheduling.
Collaborate with the project team to ensure all project work and the company policies and procedures are completed as per the control documents and the company’s standards.
Extract and summarize relevant contract requirements from the contract documents as it related to the project schedule contractual start and end dates, key milestone dates, owner involvement, liquidated damage clauses, etc.
Provide miscellaneous scheduling services for various head office departments.
Effectively utilize the Primavera P6 computer scheduling program and have full knowledge of its functions and tools.
Evaluate actual construction progress and provide regular schedule updates.
Incorporate change orders into schedules, as required.
Gather information/schedule reports from senior site personnel and relay information to internal NAC stakeholders.
Accurately assess durations, timelines and the critical path.
Interface with Operations, owners, and subcontractors to discuss impact of work and resolution of problems.
Ability to sequence shut-downs, tie-ins and constraints.
Train Project Coordinators in the use of Primavera to perform regular schedule updates.
Travel to various job sites, as required

**Qualifications**:
Possess a University Degree or College Diploma, preferably in Engineering, or equivalent skills and experience.
8 + years’ experience as a Scheduler.
Expert skill level utilizing Primavera.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
Ability to read drawings and comprehension of the project build-out process.
Knowledge of the divisional structure of a project, preferably within a Municipal environment.
Experience within the construction industry is an asset.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to make sound decisions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
Establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
High level of customer service skills for internal and external customers.
Strong work ethic and high level of integrity.
Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
