Fleming and Baron (an ASSA ABLOY company) is a manufacturer of steel doors and frames for the commercial and industrial markets. We are looking to hire a Painter Grinder for our manufacturing facility based in Woodbridge, Ontario.

**Job Summary**

As the **Painter Grinder, **you will be responsible for the Painting and Grinding of frames and doors.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**
- Perform pre-shift inspection and record results
- Paint booth set-up: spray booth, spray guns, containers encompassing proper paint mixtures, as well as touch up paints)
- Grind frames
- Perform body fill: screens, windows, transoms, doors, and fames
- Tag doors and frames
- Clean filters and equipment at shift end
- May be required to conduct training for existing as well as new employees

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure and caliper.
- Ability to set-up machinery, as assigned
- Ability to read production orders and drawings
- Ability to lift up to 20 kg. repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Ability to adapt and adjust to various assignments.
- Must perform responsibilities of a Floater for a minimum of one (1) year.

**Occupational Health & Safety**:

- Report all incidents, accidents and/or hazards.
- Participate and/or cooperate with the JHSC to improve safety.
- Wear personal protective equipment as required.
- Adhere to Lockout procedures.
- Perform housekeeping activities as required.
- Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA).
- Comply with the Workplace Safety Insurance Act (WSI Act).
- Comply with Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS).
- Comply with Health and Safety rules, policies and procedures of the division and as stated in the Royal Group Technologies Limited Employee Information Pamphlet.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Report any deficiencies in systems, facilities, machinery, equipment and/or tools immediately to your supervisor.
- Record and/or report product damage/nonconformities to your supervisor as required.
- Comply with Quality Assurance policies and procedures.
- Participate and contribute to effective production efficiency.

You will be working with a collaborative and talented team of individuals, focused on manufacturing steel doors and frames; honing-in on their craft.
