**_ Job Description_**:
The **Aircraft Cleaner** ensures that all assigned areas are cleaned appropriately on the aircraft and in the hangar. They clean aircraft exteriors, interiors, including furnishings and perform other operational cleaning functions relative to aircraft parts and associated equipment.

**_This position belongs to the bargaining unit and shall abide by all rules and regulations set out in the Collective Agreement. _**

**_This position requires immediate Controlled Goods clearance, therefore, only Canadian Residents or Permanent Residents will be considered at this time._**

**_ Major Responsibilities & Duties_**:

- Strive to consistently act in a manner in which reflects Cascade Aerospace’s culture and values.
- Determine the priorities of each job on each aircraft with regards to cleaning.
- Ensure that all assigned areas are cleaned appropriately.
- Ensure all paperwork, documentation and reporting associated with a repair is completed accurately and in accordance with Transport Canada Regulations (CARS), Technical Airworthiness Manual (TAM), Quality Control Procedures (QCP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Process Standards (CPS), all maintenance, manufacturing and policy manuals.
- Ensure all work tasks are performed in accordance with Cascade Aerospace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Be familiar with and ensure that all workplace conduct is in accordance with Cascade Aerospace’s Human Resources, attendance, safety and security policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as required.

- Good communication skills: verbal and written English
- Detail orientated
- Proficient understanding of cleaning equipment and products
- Must understand and practice safe work practices and techniques
- Ability to perform basic and repetitive tasks
- Ability to handle all types of cleaning equipment and products

**_Education_**:
Grade 12 Diploma

**_ Experience_**:

- Prefer 1-2 years’ experience in the workforce
- Previous cleaning experience is an asset
- On the job training provided
