The position is offered during Spring Beak March 11th - 29th. The position is an after school program on a 3 month contract with (possible renewal in September 2024) from April 8th - June 27th.

**Responsibilities**

**STEAM Explorations**:
Design and implement hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) activities that stimulate creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Foster a culture of curiosity and experimentation among students, encouraging them to explore and discover the wonders of the world around them.

**Advanced Literacy Initiatives**:
Develop and implement literacy programs that go beyond basic reading and writing skills, focusing on comprehension, analysis, and expression.

Utilize innovative teaching methods, such as storytelling, interactive reading sessions, and creative writing exercises, to ignite a passion for literature and language.

Tailor literacy activities to individual learning styles and levels, ensuring inclusivity and personalized growth for each student.

**Dynamic Gymnastics**:
Lead gymnastics sessions that promote physical fitness, coordination, balance, and flexibility.

Provide progressive instruction in basic to advanced gymnastics techniques, adapting teaching approaches to accommodate diverse skill levels.

Cultivate a supportive and encouraging environment where children feel confident to challenge themselves and achieve their athletic goals.

**Holistic Educational Experience**:
Integrate STEAM, literacy, and gymnastics components to create a comprehensive and enriching educational experience.

Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to develop cross-disciplinary projects and activities that encourage holistic learning and growth.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEAM-related field, Gymnastics, or a combination of related experience and education.
- Previous experience working with school-age children in educational or recreational settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire children.
- Creativity, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering holistic growth in young learners.
