JOB TITLE: Cashier/bartender - Smart Serve Certified Team Member
DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage
JOB TYPE: Seasonal/Part Time
WAGE: $15.50/hour
HOURS OF WORK: No guaranteed hours (Event Based)

SUMMARY

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:

- Ensure guests are served in a timely fashion,
- Help prepare for opening, count inventory, assist with the preparation of food & help with closing duties after event conclusion,
- Take orders, accept money, and make accurate change in a timely manner,
- Cashiers will have knowledge of all menu items and respond to questions and inquiries,
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must be available to work flexible hours for all shifts, including evenings, weekends & holidays if required,
- Must be thoroughly familiar with alcohol management procedures,
- Must be thoroughly familiar with safety and house policies and procedures in designated areas,
- Exceptional communication skills,
- Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills,
- Professioanl presentation, appearance and work ethic,
- Smart Serve Certified mandatory,
- Related experience in quick service, concessions, or restaurant service an asset,
- Other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

- Works most in concession outlets, club lounge, or portable outlets,
- Frequent changes from fast pace to slow pace.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommocations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Must have the physical ability to maneuver around the facility, walking and/or standing in excess of 5 hours daily. This position requires mínimal stooping and lifting, and manual dexterity to operate kitchen/concession equipment is required.
