Reporting to: Operations Team Leader

Overview:
This position is responsible for supporting the ABEX team in many facets. This position is critical in ensuring we meet or surpass service standards to our brokers and clients.

**Responsibilities**:
The Operations Associate duties will include but are not limited to:

- Monitor inbound telephone calls and screen or forward as necessary
- Manage mail, courier, and scanning of documents into TUW
- System data entry as assigned
- Process various underwriting and accounting transactions in TUW within authority
- Assist as needed with month end distribution of broker statements
- Update and verify broker contact information
- Other duties or projects as assigned

Skills Required
- Strong keyboarding skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Ability to evaluate and analyze information
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong need for documentation, recording, and maintenance of meticulous records
- Strong judgment, instinct, and decision-making skills

**Qualifications**:
Relevant commercial property and casualty insurance knowledge including familiarity with an MGA. Administration and service knowledge as well as a post-secondary education will be considered an asset.

Knowledge of broker management software, including TUW will be considered an asset.

The Operations Associate must be a highly organized individual, who is adept at prioritizing their workload while organizing others and is able to consistently meet deadlines when change is the norm.

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
