Apprentice Arborist

Responsibilities:

- Perform tree maintenance tasks such as pruning, trimming, planting and complete removal
- Learn Chain Saw operation and proper limbing and bucking techniques.
- Assess trees for defects and stability before climbing
- Learn leadership and teamwork in a fast paced environment and maintain the ability to think ahead.
- Provide guidance and support to crew members during tree care operations
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as an arborist or in a related field. Will train.
- Proficiency in climbing operation and rigging techniques
- Knowledge of tree species, growth patterns, and diseases
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
