Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Bakery Clerk. As a Bakery Clerk, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery department. **Responsibilities**:

- Assist customers with their bakery needs, including answering questions and providing recommendations
- Prepare and package bakery items such as bread, pastries, and cakes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery department
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
- Upsell bakery products to maximize sales
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of bakery items

**Requirements**:

- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and recipe measurements
- Experience in food preparation or working in a bakery is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to provide friendly and helpful assistance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $15.00-$17.50 per hour
