Painter/labourer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter/Laborer to join our team. As a Painter/Laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to painting and general labor. This is a hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

**Duties**:

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching holes or cracks
- Mix paints and match colors to achieve desired results
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate protective equipment
- Assist with general labor tasks such as moving materials, setting up equipment, and cleaning work areas
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

**Skills**:

- Experience in drywall repair and preparation
- Proficiency in commercial, industrial, and residential painting techniques
- Strong time management skills to ensure projects are completed efficiently
- Basic carpentry skills for minor repairs or restoration work
- Knowledge of hand tools used in painting and general labor tasks
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints for accurate execution of painting projects
